@WaltzingMtilda I was wearing a 1920s inspired dress for a party and not feeing great about myself. A young woman walked by me and said “Girl, that dress is FIRE. You look amazing!” When I tell you she made my year I am not exaggerating.

There was a gentleman at the grocery store today in a sharp overcoat, tailored slacks, and very nice casual dress shoes. If I had to guess I would say he was maybe mid-seventies? He looked so handsome. So my unfiltered self said "You look so handsome!"

One of the most delicious meal preps you can make: Crock pot ropa vieja Ingredients: 3 lb flank steak or chuck 1 cup bone broth broth 6oz can tomato paste 14 oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp turmeric 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1 small white onion, diced 2-3 bell peppers, diced 1 cup Spanish olives 5 cloves of garlic, minced Salt & pepper to taste Optional: 1/8 tsp each of ground clove and all spice Add the bone broth, tomato paste, tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, turmeric and apple cider vinegar to the crock pot and stir well. Add the steak and mix it around in the sauce so it gets coated. Add the bell pepper, onion, olives and garlic cloves, stir well. Cover and cook on until you can shred the meat with 2 forks right in the slow cooker. About 4-5 hours on high, 7-8 hours on low.
