The more I replay the story, the less I believe Yangyang is just an innocent companion. There are way too many coincidences surrounding her connection to Rover and the Fractsidus.
First, Yangyang was the very first person to find Rover after awakening. That alone already feels suspicious considering how important Rover clearly is to every major faction in the story. The Fractsidus, Black Shores, Jinzhou leadership, and even mysterious figures like the Grand Architect all seem to know far more about Rover than they openly admit. Yet somehow, Yangyang conveniently arrives first and immediately builds emotional trust with Rover before anyone else can.
What makes this even stranger is the repeated use of the name “Rover.”
In the early story, Yangyang asks:
“Can we call you that before you can remember your true name?”
That line sounds harmless at first, but later we discover the Grand Architect’s handwritten note literally says:
“Rover. We shall use that name for him, for now.”
The wording is almost identical.
That is an extremely specific coincidence. It implies Yangyang and the Grand Architect may share the same source of information, or worse, the same agenda. The idea that both independently decided to temporarily assign the exact same title to Rover feels unlikely.
Then there’s Scar’s dimensional barrier incident.
Yangyang claims she managed to “break through” Scar’s dimensional rift and return to Rover quickly. But Scar is not some random enemy. He’s one of the most dangerous Fractsidus members we’ve encountered, someone deeply tied to illusion, manipulation, and higher-level knowledge. If Yangyang could casually overcome a barrier created by Scar himself, that raises serious questions:
How did she know how to navigate it?
Why was she capable of countering it so efficiently?
Why did Scar never seem truly hostile toward her specifically?
It almost feels less like she escaped the trap and more like she already understood how it worked.
Another thing people overlook is Yangyang’s personality itself. She’s unusually calm around situations that should terrify normal people. Even when Rover displays abnormal powers or attracts catastrophic events, Yangyang rarely reacts with genuine confusion. Instead, she often acts like someone quietly observing whether events are unfolding according to expectation.
And if the Grand Architect is not the true leader of the Fractsidus, Yangyang becomes even more suspicious.
Think about it:
The perfect hidden leader would never appear openly threatening. They would stay close to Rover emotionally, guide his decisions subtly, gain his trust early, and manipulate events from the shadows. Yangyang fits that role perfectly. Nobody would suspect the gentle girl who stayed beside Rover from the beginning.
The Fractsidus also heavily values transcendence, evolution, and understanding forbidden truths. Yangyang’s constant emotional intelligence and mysterious knowledge could hint that she already understands far more about Rover’s past and the world than she pretends to.
There’s also the possibility that Yangyang is not directly evil, but instead acting as a watcher assigned to monitor Rover.

I'm just delulu😂😂
