🇮🇷 🇺🇸 Trump Floats U.S. as "GUARDIAN" of the Middle East for 20% of Revenues if No Iran Nuclear Deal In a New York Times interview, Trump said that without a nuclear deal he would either resume strikes on Iran or position the U.S. as the region's guardian in exchange for 20 percent of its revenues. He called Netanyahu "a very difficult guy" and said that if Iran had a nuclear weapon, "Israel wouldn't be around for two hours." Trump said the strikes and naval blockade had "remade the Middle East in America's favor," and confirmed that negotiations continue over a final agreement, including a proposed 15 to 20 year suspension of uranium enrichment limited to levels that "could never be used by the military."
