Day 1 of the Cape Cod College Showcase Tournament Crush 7  Stars 3 Nice offensive game for the team. Riley and Boland each with multiple hits to lead the offense. Larkee, Randall, Florio, Jaworski, and Barnett all contribute hits. Florio(2), Boland, Jaworski, French, and Barnett with RBIs. Arruda earns the win with a solid pitching performance. She pitched a complete game scattering 5 hits, limiting Stars to 3 ER while striking out 6. Defense was perfect recording 15 outs on 15 chances. Crush 9  Voodoo 2 Boland earns the win in the circle. She pitched all 5 innings, allowing just 2 unearned runs on 2 hits. She added 9 strikeouts. The offense was opportunistic, taking advantage of 8 walks. Arruda with a 2B and 2 RBIs. Riley added a 2B and scored 2 runs. French goes 1-1 with an RBI and a BB. The team takes their 2-0 pool play record into Day 2 tomorrow afternoon.

Crush 14. NE Hurricanes 2 In a match of two undefeated teams (both 7-0 on the weekend), our offense exploded for 14 runs on 11 hits. Larkee went 4-4 with 3 runs scored and 8 RBIs. She a 3 Run HR, 2 Run 3B, and a pair of run scoring 1B. Randall and Walsh both added multiple hits. Walsh with a complete game pitching effort. She scatted 4 hits over 5 innings yielding just 2 runs to a talented offense.

All-American Tournament Day 2 Results Crush 10 Central MA Lightning 1 Randall earns the win in the circle going 5 innings yielding just 4 hits and 1 unearned run while striking out 6. Marshall and Larkee each knocked in two to jump start offense. Crush 9 Velocity 1 Boland earns the win with dominant performance. She went 6 innings yielding just 1 unearned run, scattering 5 hits, and punching out 11 hitters. Offense was opportunistic with good situational hitting. Walsh and Jaworski drove in runners from 3rd with productive outs. Randall with a 2B. Lowell All-American Tournament Day 1 2-0 Start Crush 8 SeaCoast United 4 Larkee, Florio, and Benoit with multiple hits. Donovan and Randall add RBI 2Bs. Randall and Florio with 2 RBIs a piece to pace offense. Walsh gets the win in the circle with 4 solid innings yielding just 2ER while punching out 4 batters. Boland closes with 2 innings of scoreless relief, adding 4 Ks. Crush 18 Mass Drifters 1 Larkee leads the offensive barrage with 2 hits, including a home run. She also scored 3 runs and knocked in 3 runs. Randall with 2 2Bs and 3 RBIs. Randall gets the win with 4 innings of work, yielding just 1 run on 3 hits with 4Ks.

Crush finish 5-0 in Pool Play at the Firecracker 4th of July Showcase Tournament. Crush 5 Stars 4 Huge come from behind win. Hill with a huge triple in 5th. Riley with the go-ahead 2B in the 6th. Excellent situational hitting from Donovan and Clinton to score runners with productive outs. Walsh with 5 solid in the circle and Boland slams the door for the save. Crush 7 Breeze 3 Boland paces the offense going 2-2. Walsh adds a 2B. Riley, Larkee, Boland, Randall, and Hill with RBIs.

Solid start to the USA Softball State Championship Tournament. Crush go 3-0 in pool play. Pitching and defense fantastic. Pitching - Walsh, Randall, and Boland 3 W, 3 CG, and 2SHO with combined 16 IP, 0ER, 1BB, and 16Ks Infield defense excelled highlighted by Riley and Benoit perfect on 18 total chances with a couple of highlight reel plays. Florio, Walsh, and Larkee pace the offense. The team earned the #2 seed entering bracket play tomorrow.
