Phần cuối: Sau tất cả, còn lại là niềm tin
Nhìn lại hành trình này, với t $ETH chưa bao giờ chỉ là 1 đồng coin. Nó giống như 1 thằng bạn đồng hành, đi cùng t qua hết những mùa bull rực rỡ cho đến những ngày chart đỏ ngòm, ai cũng chán chả muốn mở ví.
T từng cắm đầu farm DeFi mùa hè 2020, tận mắt nhìn EIP-1559 đốt đi từng đồng phí. Tối The Merge, cả người run run chờ xem Ethereum đổi tim từ PoW sang PoS mà mạng vẫn chạy trơn tru. Rồi tới bây giờ, giữa cả trăm chain mới rẻ – nhanh – đơn giản hơn, $ETH vẫn giữ cái chất riêng: chậm, phức tạp, đắt đỏ, nhưng không thể thay thế.
Có lúc t cũng nghi ngờ, cũng nghĩ: chắc ETH rồi cũng chỉ thành 1 trang cũ trong lịch sử crypto thôi. Nhưng đi càng lâu, t càng hiểu, thứ còn lại không phải chart xanh đỏ mà là niềm tin – tin vào một thứ không dễ sụp đổ. ETH chưa bao giờ hứa sẽ rẻ hay dễ, nhưng nó cho t cảm giác mình đang ở trong một câu chuyện lớn – nơi mỗi block được sinh ra đều có một phần của mình trong đó.
Có thể sau này sẽ có chain khác nổi lên, sẽ có narrative khác cuốn đi. Nhưng khi quay lại nhìn $ETH, t vẫn thấy đó là một bến đỗ. Không hoàn hảo, không êm đềm, nhưng đủ để gọi là nhà.
Và series này dừng ở đây không phải vì Ethereum hết chuyện để kể, mà vì niềm tin của t với nó vẫn còn đang tiếp diễn. T cần thêm trải nghiệm để viết tiếp.

$ETH 101: Từ số 0 đến maxi Phần 7: EIP-1559 Có mấy ngày hè 2020, t ngồi nhìn cái Metamask mà bực. Một cú swap bé tẹo thôi, tiền gas đủ trả bữa ăn hai đứa. Mỗi lần bấm “Confirm” là một lần tự hỏi: đây là blockchain hay là trò chơi “đứa nào trả nhiều hơn thì được đi trước”? Ethereum lúc đó chẳng khác gì một thành phố kẹt xe 24/7. Ai chịu vung tiền thì lách qua, ai nghèo hơn thì đứng im nhìn chart mà tức. Hỗn loạn, ồn ào, nhưng vẫn hấp dẫn đến mức dù nhiều người bỏ đi, t vẫn cố bám lại, vì biết “thành phố” này chưa dừng ở đây. Rồi tháng 8/2021, London Hard Fork xuất hiện với EIP-1559. Ethereum bắt đầu đốt chính đồng $ETH sinh ra từ phí giao dịch – thay vì để miner ăn hết. Lần đầu check Etherscan thấy chữ “Base fee burned”, t thật sự rùng mình. Phí thì vẫn cao, ví vẫn đau, nhưng ít nhất t biết cái phí mình trả không biến mất vô nghĩa, mà thành một phần của cơ chế đốt, làm $ETH khan hiếm hơn. EIP-1559 không khiến gas rẻ hơn. Nhưng nó làm Ethereum trưởng thành. Giống như một thành phố biết cách xử lý rác – biến thứ đáng ghét thành ngọn lửa giữ cho hệ thống này sống động hơn. Và với t, đó là khoảnh khắc t hiểu: Ethereum không chỉ biết mở thêm đường (Layer 2), mà còn dám tự đốt, tự lột xác để hướng đến tương lai
