@SpurOTM We need Laporte and I see people saying we've just signed a quality defender in vdv and rightly so but no one can guarantee he will hit the ground running. Laporte is a pl proven, best ball player cb itw, vdv can backup lb too. Other cheaper options are sutalo, Anderson, hanko.

So my takings from the game today- Easier on the eye than conte ball. Shakhtar were absolutely woeful. Without Kane were toothless. Sons finished. A decent team (prem level) scores 3 against us how naive and easy it is to get behind our defence.
