Today, Azzi Fudd becomes the second daughter of a former WNBA draftee to be drafted. In April 2001, her mother, Katie Fudd, was selected by the Sacramento Monarchs in the 4th round with the 62nd overall pick. Tonight, Azzi Fudd is projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft.

When she went to the U.S., her eardrum was damaged on the plane, and a tube had to be inserted into one of her ears, which was done through surgery. However, the tube did not work, and unfortunately, the problem in her ear continues, causing hearing loss. Because of this, she still cannot fly. She constantly messages us, wishing us success, and she is very sad. Because Kayla has contributed immensely to our team until the end of the season. She also made significant contributions in our previous cups. Wouldn't she want to be here for the championship game, for the EuroLeague Women game? Every player wants to be there for the most important moments; she is extremely upset that she cannot. Please, our fans should not misunderstand: Kayla really wants to be here but cannot at the moment. At one point, we even thought about bringing her by ship to avoid her having to fly.
