The power supply is partially restored. A further fault was found, and the testing team is sourcing a generator to continue locating a fault. Brynorth Substation: The repairs are still underway. Randburg Substation 11kv, Bushhill distributor affecting Bushhill, Randpark, and Randpark Ridge: Repairs are currently underway. The power supply tripped in parts of Kya Sand, Riverbend, and Inadan. Operators will investigate the cause of the outage at the Bernie Switching Station after completing the task at hand. Olivedale Substation Olivenhout Switching Station Incomer tripped on earth fault, affecting Northgate, Northworld Gardens, and its surroundings. The power supply is fully restored. We are aware that the power supply tripped parts of Sundowner, Northwold, and Boskruin and its surroundings. Operators will investigate the cause of the outage after completing the task at hand. Please note that the wet weather conditions will delay the response time and progress on resolving outages. Further details will be communicated in the later updates. #JoburgUpdates #AlexandraSDC Alexandra Outage Update Alexandra Substation Napier Road Distributor tripped yesterday (01/11/2023) due to a double cable fault affecting Far East Bank, Tsutsumani, Ext: 8,9 and the surroundings and it is 72% restored. However, two load centers remain off until repairs are done. The test branch is currently onsite locating the fault. More information will be forwarded as soon as possible.
