The slow roller is a separator play for infielders who can play fast while staying athletic and under control. The key is the ability to throw off of the wrong foot, something that can be practiced as a part of a daily throwing program. #STdrills

Short fungos are the infielder’s equivalent to front toss for hitters. The closer distance and slower speed allows for a focus on a specific play/drill. Here, wide base ground balls isolate getting down into the legs, working from the ground up. #STdrills
