Continuing our good news week, the City of Frederick is continuing a forty-year streak with its 2020 Tree City USA recognition. This program is a nationwide movement helping and encouraging communities to manage and expand their public trees. Way to go! #MobilizeFrederick

According to Rebecca Hersher from NPR’s climate team, “as of Oct. 7, there have been 16 climate-driven disasters that caused at least $1 billion in damage.” It’s time to step up and help our planet, before these disasters cause more tragedies! #MobilizeFrederick
