Apparently costumes are NOT a common occurrence at my new school and I might be the only teacher in costume today.

@PatrickM_Hinson @MrCoachHale No physical injuries, but the emotional trauma remains. Mainly, because we had to re-enact the event every year since. Maybe now that he's at Weiss, he can move on.

It is amazing how much sleep I lose worrying about ways to support, promote, and elevate our students and staff. My mind races are night with things to try and make Blanco High School better for our community! Crazy…but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This is Marlo. On A days, my 1st period class hides him somewhere in the room. Then, 3rd period finds him and moves him. 1st comes in, finds him, and moves him. This cycle has repeated every A day for most of the year. I love these kids & I'll miss them next year. #LTGoodThings

Several students from last year who were on campus today for testing came by my room to see me. It felt like the first day of school in a normal school year. As much as I need the rest of summer break, seeing these kids makes me look forward to next year. #LTGoodThings #15days
