There is no case of Dunning-Kruger worse than the average woman’s perceived ability to judge character and her actual ability to judge character. Genuinely, in all my years, I have never met a woman who was as good at it as she believed. Women who dated men that beat and raped them will STILL insist they are good judges of character afterward. It comes off as an actually insane delusion. I don’t know why the female sex is so stuck on this being a trait they have, but they absolutely do not have it.

It's tough to have a conversation about data centers because many people who oppose them live in a fact-free reality What is there to discuss when people just make things up?

“They don’t produce energy” except the new centers are being built with energy producing infrastructure which in Mississippi and Indiana has resulted in cheaper energy rates for locals. “They dont make jobs” except for the thousands of blue collar jobs made to build them and sustain them and the underlying infrastructure. “They consume all the water” the new closed loop plants have reduced water consumption by like 90%. The “deal being offered” here is that data centers are put up in areas where land is cheap and unused, and in response it creates massive economies for the locals making them rich and reducing their costs of living. London county VA has seen an average of 1500 a year reduction in property tax for the past 10 years. Covington Georgia is about to abolish property taxes because the AWS center brings in so much revenue. There are serious and legitimate concerns about them, like state subsidies for building, tax waivers, and the way HOW a plant is built, but that isn’t the discussion you’re engaging in here.
