@ModernConflict ATT had been President for almost 10 years, elected in 2002 & 2007. When overthrown he had almost completed his term. For a year he had led the interim authority after the revolution & coup against Moussa Traoré in 1991. Alpha Oumar Konaré was elected twice in 1992 & 1997.

As a very new Democrat, I am so damn concerned about this. The Democratic Party will not win nationally and will not win in battleground states if they abandon their support for Israel.
