@KLoQueens @CBCMurdoch Hahaha! I went and watched in 2019. In 2021 they were under COVID restrictions. I'm hoping to catch some of the action next week!

@clhubes This was my experience as well. Now my oldest is 16, but I still remember the trauma well. It changed my sleep habits completely, but not for the worst.

@kristatee @garrettelliott If I hadn't seen people talking about it on socials I probably would have sent the kids to the bus on Tuesday. Luckily my teens talk to their friends, so networking for the win! (I haven't seen anything specific from the kids school or board - alcdsb.)

Where I live, school starts next Wednesday. But historically, it usually starts the Tuesday after Labour Day. How many parents do you think will try to drop off kids on Tuesday? @garrettelliott

@Dadsaysjokes But if you had all of those, can't you still listen to your collection? I have not subscribed to any music services and I digitized my CD collection many years ago and keep it in my phone to listen to. (Also have a stereo set up with CD player and turntable.)

If anybody wants to know why Gen X is always mad, it's because we had to replace our record collections with a tape collection that we had to replace with a CD collection that we had to replace with an MP3 collection, and now we need a subscription to listen to music.

@miztwocents13 @evilplasticfork My parents did that too. I don't, but do keep it in a closed (supposedly airtight) container in a cupboard.

So I was yesterday years old when I learned that school in @LimestoneDSB begins Wednesday the 4th. Thought it might be helpful to spread that news. #ygk

@shaylariane The chicken souvlaki meal was amazing. We had an excellent lunch there, then stopped in at the library (where my daughter found her friends playing DnD, and stayed with them when we went home - with books!)

@JeanniePrinsen What sorcery is this?? I have injured myself many times trying to pry the frozen (store bought) pucks apart. Will try this next time!!!
