I've grown so cynical seeing gender non-conforming people, I always assume they're likely caught up in gender ideology. Can we start a thread of awesome gender non-conformists who don't/didn't drink the gender kool aid? I'll start: Grace Jones.

This is SUCH a fabricated problem that can only exist when sleeping around is seen as the norm and therefore you have to seek out a reason for finding them unsatisfying, when most people know one night stands simply aren't that satisfying on multiple levels! This is not news!

@DeersCollected Yes. And this determines their development. It is not random that someone has Swyer but still within their bodily makeup.

@DeersCollected Fair. That inactivation would then be the cause of differentiated development.

@ModernShy No it isn't...

@DeersCollected No sex is determined by the organisation of sexual reproductive organs around the ability to produce large or small gametes, whether those organs still or ever did produce said gamete.

@ModernShy If that is true, then there is no definition of sex that isn't inherently correlative. And if that's true, then it has to be a social construct, because there is, at some level, an active decision being made to include or exclude a given condition, phenotype or trait.

@DeersCollected But even with Swyer, its the lack of a gene that causes it. That is the blueprint for Swyer. So that development is not random.

@ModernShy I think that's more than enough to establish that epigenetics can greatly affect development, meaning that the terminology of "a body organized around X" is simply untenable.

@DeersCollected SRYs dont activate ir deactivate they simply are part of DNA or not.

@DeersCollected Yes I showed you a link that called them DSD s before haha. But those people are still only one sex. They have only one active sex tissue. They dont change sex.

@ModernShy Person's can be born with a mix of both gonads, among other things. They're literally called differences of sex development (DSD) in scientific lingo.

@DeersCollected Yes I agree. But the development of sexual reproductive system... it will only ever be one type. We cannot change that.

@ModernShy DNA influences greatly how an individual develops, but development depends on environment and other factors as well. And even with all of that, there are sources of noise that also determine how we end up, such as entropy.

@DeersCollected Yes. Height, or other development, can be negatively affected by lack of nutrients etc. But DNA determines what your tallest height might be.

@ModernShy No, I think that there are many influences on how we develop that come from many different places.

@DeersCollected If we dont have a pathway of development in place, do you honestly think we just grow at random? Where do you think we inherent eye colour, hair colour, height, or anything else?

@DeersCollected Yes and it wouldve been in my DNA. In the case of sex, we're talking about the SRY gene. Of course things can go wrong, but the pathway of development is in place which makes the organisation.

@DeersCollected No. As I grew my DNA was what gave my body the instructions to develop as male. Once my DNA was in place, that was the pathway my body would take.

@DeersCollected But you're also kind of answering your own question. If it doesnt get observed due to survivorship bias, are you saying that perdon didnt survive because of an organizational i Developmental issue within their body?

@DeersCollected Why would it not be observed? The link above doesnt describe PERFECT humans it allows for variations on any level of development.
