One of my greatest passions in life is meeting people and understanding their backgrounds, lives and perspectives. The whole of it. In the world of blockchain, I have been feeling the irony of this for a long period of time. Anonymity is one of the treasured values for many good reasons, but it's ever seemed to be one that comes at a trade-off sometimes: Accounts, people, and all human things are viewed as nothing more than just numbers, or metrics. But over the months, I'm beginning to think I may find the perfect solution for both - Well, nothing novel, something people here are all too familiar about. Podcasts or spaces. Inspired by some of the daily podcasts I have been listening to for years (@tboypod ) and some of the most consistent people I know so far ( @GemsScope , @RugRadio @ElderKarl68 just to name a few), I'm planning to start one myself. Here's how I'm hoping it'll go: 1. I'll be having one-to-one bite-sized (hopefully <30min lol) conversations with individuals in the blockchain space to find out more about their lives. Thinking of just 3-5 questions. 2. This can be about ANYTHING and in fact I encourage it to be less solely about crypto or Web3. The aim is for me and people who listen in to know more about people as people, not necessarily as investors/founders or something that is supposedly more accepted. 3. Probably not daily. I suck at that + It is not something I want to take away most of my time on @MadMeerkatNFT on. But weekly/periodically/when I get someone cool on board. 4. I may make references to my personal experiences but don't expect anything to be MMB-related, alpha etc. Heck, the whole episode may be totally random and unrelated to anything crypto. Well, as I am typing this, I am already aware how this might turn out at the start. But this is more a personal endeavour than anything else. I want to do something I am passionate about, that I can possibly upkeep with all in life going on. So, if you're keen to know more about others, give it a follow. I'll also record the spaces and put it there. In fact, that will probably be all the account is for, so me and you can look back, tune in and listen whenever. If you'd love to share more about yourself too, hit me up for us to have a chat. Looking for something organic and personal that you are willing to share. That's about it. I hope you'll slowly like this initiative as much as I am beginning to like it. It may not change much, but I hope it reminds us from time to time, that there are people with lives behind that account and picture. That life is larger than whatever it may seem.
