The issue never was in the ease of use... It's both an issue producing results that come from the amalgamation of training data rather than from the mind of the human behind it. And the issue of what material will be used to train AI once all movies are generated by AI. I get why he thinks that, since he pushed for the democratisation of modern visual effects, but the issue is still to only see it as "a new tech", and use that as an excuse to disregard any specific issue with this tech that the one that came before didn't had (3D didn't needed to exploit thousand of 2D drawing taken without consent from 2D animator). Oh, and finally, he can give all the advice he wants; he has yet to make a movie with AI to prove his point; here he is just throwing that and betting on another movie maker to actually pull that off.

I understand that prompters are still convinced the world will need their "Talent" at asking stuff of AI. That whenever someone wants AI art to be made, they're gonna need "Expert AI explainer" to give the client's demand to the AI for them. Clients are just gonna ask the AI themselves, especially as it's become more comprehensive and user-friendly. The "professional prompter" will be a useless middleman, only there to copy and paste client demands, in the same way as your idiot chef, who is just there to copy and paste obvious information and, above that, brag about being the most talented guy in the process...

The issue with AI is that it's stealing artists who are able to complain... because if they don't, they will be replaced.

That aside, back then, we needed all that extra strength to build society. AI will mass-produce art products that were already overproduced compared to how much the public can consume.

I'm making a program that is a bridge between PNG tubing and Live2d. It's called "Adventurer". You can make a model in less than 30 minutes and add new emotes in less than 5.

That indeed is all you do, see this end of freedom, and the end of just, well, our life soon, and decide that personnaly you want to be happy about it. That's good for you, just don't complain that other people are more grounded and want to keep searching for a solution to fight back. Your choice if you just want to sit down and watch passively as tech carries you, just please don't put your energy into complaining about people who actually want fight against the end society.

@ModnarYug42 @Leaflit @shichinobushi Then pivot and get good or stop crying and perish. Hand drawn art will continue to exist regardless. People will purchase custom art just like they still purchase custom furniture or etc. If you don't like it then don't use it and focus on bettering yourself.

Sounds great right? Even tho people won't suddenly put more money into art because they have 200 times more choice... So money will just spread thin over all of them, until no one can get a job outside of it... We all know that, soon enough, they will get a result that is impossible to distinguish from actual artist work. And we all know how this will end: A job once made by thousands of different artists will be replaced by 1 or 2 massive company. Less costly at first, and will soon ask for a mandatory subscription to keep your model once the independant alternativ died.
