@ThePalaceWay I didn’t see anything wrong with it , we should have defended the goal line and played to the whistle! I’d be fuming if one of ours stopped playing in that situation. It’s no different to player down in the middle of the park, just crack on and score the goal 🤷‍♂️

Clearly you have little incline on how Liverpool operates and more troubling is your general understanding of how Liverpool sets its team up. First of, Salah isn't our best player this season, he's a pale shadow of himself and his performance this season has been horrendous. However he's an icon. Class is always permanent. But more importantly, Gakpo is not starting "ahead" of Salah. They both play on different sides of the attack so get that. Yes it is true that the whole team except for Szobozlai and Hugo Ekitike have been poor. But all those with proper replacements have been benched one game or the other; Robbo, Macca, Isak, Hugo, Flo, Frimpong etc. Mo is an icon but he's not untouchable. Out most impactful attacker this season no matter what sulks on the bench and he's never utter a word. His name is Chiesa. Be dispassionate on this issue and you will appreciate it better

You can’t bench your best player for three straight games and expect anyone to believe it isn’t personal. The entire team has been poor: some players even worse than Salah this season, yet he’s the only one treated this way? What makes it even stranger is that the player starting ahead of him, Gakpo, hasn’t outperformed him in any department, whether offensively or defensively, neither has the team’s results improved. So what exactly is the justification for choosing him over Salah? Salah has created the most chances for Liverpool this season, and his defensive numbers haven’t been bad either. In fact, in the PSV match, the last one he started before being dropped, he actually covered more ground than any Liverpool player on the pitch. How do you bench someone after that? If he were the only one badly out of form, fine, blame him. But when the entire team has struggled the way they have, it clearly isn’t down to your best player. At that point, the responsibility lies with the manager.
