Wir haben Russland gegenüber klargemacht, dass es beim Thema Spionage kein „Weiter wie bisher“ gibt. Viel zu lange hatte Österreich einen laxen Umgang mit ausländischen Spionen. Wir haben als Regierung einen klaren Kurswechsel vollzogen und gehen konsequent dagegen vor. Erst kürzlich wurde daher drei Diplomaten die Akkreditierung entzogen und sie wurden ausgewiesen.
Unsere Dienste bestätigen: Der Antennenwald lichtet sich, Antennen wurden abgebaut. Und wir arbeiten bereits am nächsten Schritt: einer Verschärfung der Spionagegesetze.
