🚨🎙️ Mikel Arteta was asked: “Who is the best player in the world right now?” 🗣️ “There are many top players right now like Saka, Dembele, Mbappe, Michael Olise, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Luis Díaz…” 🗣️ “But for me, the best player is Declan Rice. The way he changes games, the way he helps the defence, controls the midfield, wins duels, leads with personality… he’s the best. Every manager in the world would love to have a player like him.” 🎤 Interviewer: “Besides Declan Rice, no Manchester City F.C. player?” 🗣️ “Manchester City have very good players, of course… but they just bottled the league. We will see them next season.” laughs

🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry on Viktor Gyökeres “People talked about Arsenal needing a striker for years… now they have one who changed everything. Gyökeres came to England with pressure on his shoulders, took the No.14 shirt, and still delivered when it mattered the most.” “He didn’t try to become the next Thierry Henry — he became the first Viktor Gyökeres. That’s why the fans respect him already.” “To score goals, fight for the badge, and help bring the Premier League back to Arsenal after so many years… that’s something supporters never forget.” “If he continues like this, the scary part is… this might only be the beginning.” 🔴🏆

🚨🗣️ Interviewer: “Mikel, who’s the toughest player you’ve ever faced in your career?” Mikel Arteta: “There are so many incredible players I’ve played against. Mohamed Salah with his explosiveness, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and his dribbling, Ousmane Dembélé because you never know which direction he’ll go, Kevin De Bruyne with his vision, Bruno Fernandes with his creativity, Cole Palmer with his composure… honestly, the list is endless.” Interviewer: “What about Erling Haaland?” Arteta: “Haaland once told me to stay humble… but in the end, I humbled him.” Interviewer: “By the way, Arsenal played Real Madrid last season and you didn’t even mention Mbappé or Vinícius Jr…” Arteta: “Yes, it’s true we played against them… but you should ask Declan Rice what he did to Real Madrid.”

Jamie Carragher on Arsenal winning the league after 22 years: “I’ll be honest, I’ve never seen a title win in English football feel this calm or this… quiet outside of the club itself. Arsenal have waited 22 years for a league title, and you’ve got to give them credit for that, because it’s not easy to go through that kind of drought and still keep believing. The fans deserve their moment, no doubt about it. But if we’re being completely honest, from the outside looking in, it doesn’t feel like something that has gripped the whole football world. Normally when a team wins the Premier League, it becomes the main topic everywhere — rival fans talk about it, pundits debate it endlessly, there’s this huge wave of reaction. With Arsenal, it feels like it’s mostly just Arsenal fans celebrating it, and everyone else has kind of already shifted their attention to what comes next. Maybe that says more about how football moves on so quickly nowadays. One season ends, and everyone is already talking about transfers, next season predictions, and who will challenge again. That doesn’t take anything away from what Arsenal have done, because winning a league title is never easy, no matter the circumstances. So fair play to them, they’ve earned it after a long wait. But football doesn’t stop here. The real question now is whether they can back it up and turn this into a period of dominance, or if this is just a one-off moment in their history. Let them enjoy it — we’ll see what happens next season.”

🚨🗣️ Thierry Henry congratulating Bruno Fernandes after breaking the Premier League assist record previously held by him and Kevin De Bruyne: “Records are made to be broken, and if there is one player in modern football who truly deserves this moment, it is Bruno Fernandes. What he has done this season is absolutely extraordinary. To create chances week after week, to carry responsibility every single game, and to still deliver under pressure at the highest level… that is the mark of a world-class player. When people talk about assists, they often only look at numbers. But real football people understand what it takes to consistently create for others in the Premier League. Vision, intelligence, timing, courage, leadership — Bruno has shown all of it. Breaking a record that stood alongside mine and Kevin De Bruyne’s is not something small. It is history. I watched many great midfielders in my life, but Bruno has something special about him. He plays with emotion, with passion, and with personality. Even when his team struggles, he never hides. He always demands the ball, always tries to make something happen, and that mentality is rare in football today. People can debate styles, systems, or eras, but numbers combined with influence never lie. This season, Bruno Fernandes has been the heartbeat of his team. He created magic when it mattered most, and now his name stands alone at the top of Premier League history for assists in a single season. So from one record holder to another, congratulations Bruno. Enjoy this moment because records like this are remembered forever. Football will always respect creators, and this season, nobody created more than you.” 👏🔥

🚨🗣️ Declan Rice on Bruno Fernandes winning the Premier League Player of the Year award: “Honestly, I’m not surprised anymore. Bruno Fernandes has been carrying Manchester United for years now, and people are finally starting to appreciate what he actually does on the pitch every single week. I remember when people used to compare him with other midfielders and say he loses the ball too much or that he only puts up numbers because of penalties. But football isn’t played on Twitter or TikTok clips. Football is about influence, mentality, leadership, consistency, and showing up when your team needs you the most. Bruno does that better than almost anyone in the world right now. You look at Manchester United over the last few seasons — through difficult moments, injuries, pressure from the media, changes in managers — and somehow Bruno is always the one fighting, creating chances, scoring goals, pressing nonstop, demanding more from his teammates, and refusing to hide. A lot of players disappear when things get tough. Bruno becomes even louder and even better. People don’t realize how hard it is to consistently produce numbers in midfield in the Premier League. To create chances every game, score goals, deliver assists, control the tempo, and still run harder than almost everyone else on the pitch… that’s elite. Absolutely elite. Getting over 20 assists in a season while also scoring important goals is ridiculous. For me, he deserves every award this season. The Premier League Player of the Year, the PFA award, everything. There is no midfielder in the league right now impacting games the way Bruno Fernandes is. He can win a game with one pass, one shot, one moment of brilliance, but what impresses me the most is his mentality. He never stops demanding more. People always talk about flashy football and aesthetics, but if you actually understand football, you know Bruno is one of the most complete midfielders in the world. He creates, he leads, he sacrifices for the team, he presses, he takes responsibility, and he performs under pressure constantly. In my opinion, right now Bruno Fernandes is the best player in the Premier League, and honestly, I don’t even think it’s close.”

🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry on Bruno Fernandes winning Player of the Season: 🗣“People can laugh at Manchester United’s season, but without Bruno Fernandes they would’ve been completely lost. Week after week he carried the team with goals, assists, leadership and mentality. For me, Player of the Season is not only about trophies — it’s about influence. And no player influenced his team more than Bruno. Even in difficult moments, he always showed personality, always demanded the ball, always fought. That’s what top players do. Sometimes greatness shines brighter in chaos, and Bruno proved he belongs among the elite.” 🔥

🚨🗣️ Sadio Mané on the GOAT debate between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo: “Honestly, playing with Cristiano Ronaldo was an incredible experience and I’m truly happy I had the chance to share the pitch with him. His mentality, discipline and dedication are on another level. But if you ask me about the greatest player ever, my answer has always been Messi. I chose Messi years ago when both of them were in their prime… and after training and playing with Ronaldo, I realized my decision was the correct one for me.” “Cristiano is a machine. In training he scores headers constantly, his power shots are unbelievable and he’s extremely clinical with simple chances, tap-ins and finishing inside the box. He works harder than almost anyone I’ve ever seen.” “But Messi is something completely different. What Messi does on the pitch cannot be taught or created through training alone. The way he dribbles past 2, 3, 4, even 5 defenders and then scores beautiful goals like it’s nothing… I honestly don’t think Ronaldo can do those kinds of things naturally in a match.” “With Ronaldo you admire the work ethic and the obsession to improve. With Messi you watch football and feel magic. That’s the difference for me.”

🚨🗣️ Thierry Henry on Cristiano Ronaldo winning the Saudi Pro League: “To be honest, I still remember Cristiano in 2015 saying: ‘I want to finish at the top level. I want to finish with dignity, in a good club. I don’t want to go to Qatar, USA or Dubai because I don’t see myself there.’ Those were his words, not mine. Now look at him yesterday, emotional and crying after winning the Saudi Pro League. First of all, congratulations to him because winning any trophy is never easy and Cristiano’s mentality has always been unbelievable. But this is exactly why in football you must be careful with what you say. Football changes quickly. Life changes quickly. Sometimes the same thing you criticize becomes your reality years later. That is why I always tell players: respect every league, respect every country, and never speak as if you already know what your future will look like. People can laugh, people can make jokes, but the truth is Cristiano still has the passion, still wants to compete and still wants to win trophies at his age. That deserves respect. But at the same time, this should also remind him that words stay forever in football. Fans always remember what you once said. Maybe after this experience Ronaldo himself will understand that sometimes silence is better than making strong statements about the future.”

🚨🗣️ Wayne Rooney on Cristiano Ronaldo finally winning the Saudi League: “No disrespect but honestly… no one really cares about the Saudi League outside of social media debates. Cristiano is one year older than me and if I’m being truthful, I think he should’ve retired already. I don’t even understand why he keeps pushing himself this hard at this stage. People will get angry because it’s Ronaldo and he has millions of loyal fans, but sometimes I actually watch Saudi League matches, especially the big games, and Cristiano is no longer the player people pretend he is. He doesn’t dominate matches, he doesn’t control games, and even the simple tap-ins are becoming difficult for him. Most of the time the team carries him now rather than the other way around. Winning another trophy there doesn’t suddenly change football history. The last meaningful trophy people seriously celebrated from him was probably during his Juventus days, and even then expectations were completely different. I genuinely don’t understand why every single thing he does now gets treated like the greatest achievement ever. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest players in football history, nobody can erase that. But football moves on. Age catches everyone eventually, even the legends, and sometimes knowing when to stop is also part of greatness.”
