Major General Herbert Chingono 's cortege arrived later in the day today and will again lie in state at Charles Gumbo Barracks today.Burial proceedings will commence tomorrow and His Excellency ,The President Cde Dr E.D.Mnangagwa is scheduled to preside over the burial.

Triple Burial Update.The mortal remains of the three distinguished Sons of the Soil are now at Charles Gumbo Barracks ahead of burial tomorrow. First tio arrive was the body of Cde Cosmas Chiringa, who has been lying in state since Wednesday, followed by Cde Elson Mupamaonde.

Farewell Son of the Soil.The body of the late National Hero,Major Ge every Hebert Chingono is now at his farm in Mazowe for the Provincial Send off ceremony. To receive the body is the Mashonaland Central Provincial Chair,Hon Kazembe Kazembe .

Tomorrow ,the cortege will proceed to his family home in Greystone Park, where he will lie in state.Major General Chingono's remains will be returned to Charles Gumbo Barracks on Sunday ahead of burial on Monday.

Updates on late national hero,Major General Hebert Chingono. Today, the late Major General Herbert Chingono 's mortal remains will be airlifted from Charles Gumbo Barracks to his farm in Mazowe.A provincial send-off ceremony will be held at the farm

On Saturday from 1000hrs,he will be airlifted to his farm in Centenary for a send-off ceremony. He will lie in state at the farm before being transferred to Charles Gumbo Barracks to join the other two national heroes ahead of burial on Monday.

#Triple Burial Update.Also in Mashonaland Central Province today, veteran former Zipra fighter and national hero Cde Elson Mupamaonde 's remains will be transported to Sowe Village in Muzarabani where he will lie in state.

The body of the late Major General Hebert Chingono is now back in Harare.He was received at Charles Gumbo Barracks by officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs.Today the remains of the National Hero will be airlifted to his farm in Mazowe for another send-off .
