Indian mgmt couldn't fit in Kishan in 2023 WC. It was understandable to an extent. Not anymore. It will be sinful to see him warm the bench. 1 to 5, he has nailed all batting spots in this format. We all talk about Shaws, Suryavanshi's and the Pant's. How well has young U19 captain Kishan transformed himself and is always ready to fight is commendable.

He is Don Shubman Gill. A don who can only perform on flat wickets. That is the harsh reality. Scoring 154 runs against a useless Afghanistan Team on an Ekana Highway doesn't make you great. Unlike Kohli, Sachin, Rohit, Dravid who have all performed everywhere you need to prove yourself in challenging conditions against quality bowlers. Only then people will start respecting and appreciating your volume of work.

All the BCCI needs to do is get some proper, premium brands as sponsors instead of things like Kamla Pasand or Pan Bahar. Most stadiums would immediately look way more beautiful and classy.
