Seeing Megamunch for the 1st time as a dino-obsessed child all those years ago was a special moment from my childhood. From that point on, a trip to the Royal Sask was never complete without saying hi to Megamunch & listening to his roars & snarls.

Yes, it’s true. Megamunch is retiring. It has been 37 years since Megamunch arrived at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum on May 16, 1986. Almost immediately, he started the Megamunch Club, which was hugely popular with kids for almost two decades. (1/6)

FYI: Expecting a very windy weekend ahead. Breezy conditions until supper time Saturday when wind speeds pick up to about 40-50 km/h. Winds could potentially reach just over 70 km/h overnight Saturday/early Sunday! Stronger breeze to end the weekend.
