Their work has become so desperate with all the competition that they have decided that fairness and kindness can go to hell, all 60 % of them. The remaining 40% are usually driving their own taxis and are cautious.

@SAfmRadio The generations which had corporal punishment are not better off though, our emotional development suffered because we were hit and / or threatened. We know the Math but we need someone to tell us how to use it, someone more emotionally developed than ourselves.

@SAfmRadio I've tried many ways of giving additional support to high school learners doing stem subjects but after while I realized that Maths and Science are not the problem, the kids don't know how to handle their emotions, which gets in the way of their learning.
