I wanted to get a new book to read, and thought I would try reading a Japanese author. Kinokuniya has a section with modern Japanese authors, but every book was about a mysterious bookshop or convenience store lol

最近、本当に燃え尽き症候群気味です。私はフルタイムで働き、その後家に帰って論文に取り組まなければならない。これが終わるのが待ち遠しい。日本語の勉強を再開したり、マクロ撮影をしたり、アリについて語ったりしたい。もう二度とレポートなんて書きたくない。

I really want to go somewhere on a day off and photograph mushrooms. I have a lot of work on my thesis still, but I'll still probably slip away some time in May. I haven't seen nearly as many as I normally do this time of year though

I am at my university working on my thesis. I really hope I have enough time to photograph insects

I have already gone to a number of macro photography courses, so I have plenty of photos already, but they are all grainy, and I'm too afraid to install anything to clean them up until after July 😭

I'm heading to the university from tomorrow for one month. I'm going to drive there. I'm really looking forward to the long drive and taking lots of photos, but I am paranoid about installing photoshop on my laptop as I absolutely need it to finish my thesis.
