@Zaloufiii@frstysghs@Newgrounds I will post here when I finish and upload the game, I would also recommend checking out newgrounds.com on June 6th to see the other low poly day entries! This is the deadline I have for uploading my game.
@UMETNIST@Newgrounds Don't worry, music production was my first love long before I got into game dev! I'm planning to add an atmospheric PS1 style DnB/Jungle soundtrack.
@MolemanStudios@Newgrounds listen i know you're thinking "i know music is important but i'll add it later" and i'm here to relieve you of that notion
add music, like right away. you will 10x your reach without any additional work
liquid d&b or breakcore or something in that family
@BlueDouble@psychodarf@Newgrounds Yeah getting the textures on them was a pain. I've ended up having 2 CSGs per segment of road; the top half uses 1 texture, and the bottom half uses another texture. It's not a perfect solution but it mostly does the job.
@psychodarf@Newgrounds Godot has a great built in feature called CSG polygons which you can set to build a 3D mesh by following a curve defined by a series of given points, so you can create really intricate ribbon shapes easily. So I mostly used that (when I wasnt just using box meshes).
You have exactly $15 to build a team of 6 Kanto Pokémon.
• You must pick exactly 6 Pokémon.
• If you go over $15, you lose.
• Gen 1, R/B
Who is making your final roster?
@9blomir i started developing a game for #pico8 about a week ago and so far have used up ~50% of the available resources. perfect environment for making small games!
@jimothycool yo jim big fan. I made this dumb browser game. It would be awesome to watch you play it at the end of one of your rat race videos or something. Video is my pro level gameplay. Let me know!
