I really wish we could just congratulate female athletes on NIL accomplishments, instead of bashing them for chasing a check. Let's not pretend like you wouldn't do the same!!!!

I hate to break it to you, but if ANY player got hit 5 times in 3 games, their coach would have questions. Any good coach would be fighting for their kid! If roles were reversed, Tim Walton would be asking the same questions.

Obviously there’s plenty of debate so and so player here or there but we don’t do a third team like NFCA does - we have 20 less players. We factored SOS and had a pretty lengthy conversation about the last two spots.
If you have an argument about a player, I’m open to chatting.

My son did not land on 3rd base. He was a manager for 4 years, a GA for 2 years, and a video coordinator for 6 years. He has more experience than I did when I got my 1st Asst D1 job at Idaho. He is working for my former Asst who got his 1st shot as HC at 53. Miss me with this.

Respectfully disagree. Why is a 19 year old expected to take the high road over a grown man? Why should either be policed for waving? Is it any different than a bat flip?
Pitching is competitive. Softball is competitive. Showing fire is FUN on ALL sides. Let people be fun!🫶🏻

Why not take the “high road” and let your play do the talking??? Why is it instant defense of “well the coach did it first!?” Not a great excuse when I’ve seen it from multiple pitchers in multiple different games…

@John5tork Played at a 5A high school! Was the only player out of my class to go play D1 softball and i didn't get significant playing time until my senior year :)

Lol no. D1 athlete here! Didn't play on varsity until I was a junior, have never been the best player on the field, & rarely did anyone look me at and say "she's going D1".
But I outworked everybody. Very rarely is a kid just born a D1 athlete, hard work can you anywhere.

If your kid is good enough to play Division 1 sports, they will be the best player on the court or field every single game (other than rare exceptions). They will start - and excel - as a freshman. If that’s not happening, time for a dose of reality.

This @LindenwoodWBB team is fun to watch. They pass and cut really well. Very few wasted dribbles and they get to the line. They will make some noise this year in the @OVCSports and beyond.
