The external defibrillators in both the Patrick Kavanagh Centre (Inniskeen) and the Old Library Ballybay have now been returned to the new external cabinets. The access code for cabinets will be provided by the emergency services. All details are on the front of the boxes and return details inside defibrillators. @followers

🚧 Emergency Road Closure 🚧 Monaghan County Council has put an emergency road closure in place from Friday, 27 February 2026 to allow for urgent road repairs. Road Closed: • L‑4310 in the townland of Gorteens Diversions: 🔸 Southbound traffic (towards Tullynacrunat North) will be diverted via the L‑8310 to the N2, then left towards Carrickmacross, and left again onto the L‑4300. 🔸 Northbound traffic (towards Annalittin) will be diverted via the L‑4300 to the N53, then left towards Castleblayney, and left again onto the L‑7870. All detours will be fully signposted. Local access only – no through traffic.
