@NinjagoShitpost they that they gave themselves and out for that in crystalized and refused to take him still existing serves no story purpose other then just making any efforts against him pointless which isnt a very good end for the final antagonist of the first show

Logically, the only way to truly destroy the Overlord is to destroy Ninjago, so unless the people of Ninjago resign themselves to that, the only strategy that works is to push him back long enough to have time to live their lives peacefully

remember in crystalized when Wu was like "we've delayed the Overlord twice before, but maybe this time, we can find a way to defeat him once and for all!" and then they just didn't and now Lloyd still counts him in his list of enemies he hasn't defeated

@Monerb119 Tell me, when did Ray pass the fire power to Kai, and when did Maya pass the water power to Nya? This thing about one object being passed to another only works for Zane, and we don't know how that was done. In other cases, like Nya and Kai, it's inherited genetically
