Bank of America data showed in-person spending across U.S. host cities rose 5% from June 10 to July 5, led by restaurants, bars and Kansas City, where hotel revenue jumped nearly 50%. Argentina fans helped fuel the late surge, with flights from Argentina up nearly 46% and bookings to Atlanta more than doubling ahead of the semifinal.
