Let me show you a race car where you can drive up to the back bumper of the leader and loosen them up without pushing up 3 lanes

At this point it really feels like if NASCAR knows it's gonna take a while to clean up a yellow flag incident, then just red flag it to save laps.

NBC just had the worst 5 minutes of coverage all year. Missed the past for the lead and then missed the wreck between the 24 and 10. Wtf man...

Wish NASCAR would take a long deep look at today’s race and realize it could be so very simple, miss me with any excuse they’d offer, the xfinity car is the best damn race car on the planet and today was a great race, thankful I tuned in since cup has killed my overall interest

@Toby_Christie Best car/package in all of motorsports for comp and entertainment. They just refuse to run it on Sundays. If cup had that car rn ratings would be up.

Man what a battle for the win! Best stock car on the planet right now and it's not particularly close. Love everything about that type of racing and those driving dynamics!

There's no way to completely eliminate team orders. Nor are they new to the 14-present elimination chase/playoffs. However, I stand by their being a significant reduction in frequency of team orders (specifically "don't pass X" types of 100% rule "violations) without point resets
Steven Taranto@STaranto92

Back in 2011 at Talladega, there was an uproar after Trevor Bayne hung Jeff Gordon out to dry on the final restart under apparent orders to draft with Matt Kenseth instead, effectively spoiling Gordon's Cup title hopes - And illustrating that team orders go way further than just the playoff system we have now. Wrote about this for @Frontstretch , why it's probably naive to assume no more playoffs means no more tomfoolery, and what the best NASCAR can hope in 2026 and beyond is.
