We expect that we could appeal our protocol to new users and provide better UX by launching Optimism. - Optimism is one of the most popular Ethereum L2 networks. - Optimism now has a TVL of about 300M. - Gas fee is low and reduces the entry barrier for users.

For this collaboration, InsureDAO will create an insurance pool covering Synthetix. Also, InsureDAO will deposit underwriting liquidity of $100k into the pool at the launch, in order to bootstrap our Optimism launch.
