@1johnqt Dude, as part of Team Senegal, here are screenshots of the ping on the only 2 games we lost. We were confident coming into this tournament for our subsaharan region spot and won 13-1 on the only game we played on fair ping

@1johnqt we are fighting over ping more than fighting in the game and putting energy up to it, an admin comes and forces you to play Istanbul then another admin is open for discussion and fairness with teams to get the best for both, then you come to play bo1 which is basically gambling

I don’t know who thought putting North Africa + Middle east/Asia in the same qualifier for 1 SPOT was a good idea. We are spending more time to argue and calculate which server is best than the actual game. also bo1 8)

@1johnqt They let nigerians play on 3. Ping with us on 220 when we made tests with the admins and there’s was only a 30 ping difference in Frankfurt.. they first said playing on Frankfurt was more fair but then Nigeria complained and they ended up going back to cape town as a result 🤷🏾‍♂️

@1johnqt This whole tournament is a joke and the unfair treatment demoralized my entire team when it was glaring that we were the number 1 contender for our region from our POV but it is what it is

@1johnqt Against Nigeria, the admins had a choice of making us play Frankfurt on 30 ping difference between the two teams or on cape town where we had a gap of 180 ping. They ended up choosing cape town with the argument that “Nigeria traveled all the way to SA and the rule states that”

@JohntaOfficial Team Senegal vs Team Nigeria, the admins had the choice to pick a server with a ping difference of 220 ms (Cape Town) between the two teams or where the ping gap would have been 30ms (Frankfurt). They ended up going for the 220 ms route leading to Senegal surrendering on round 5

What matters long-term is your ability to learn and grow, and your reputation. What do you gain from a win against opponents with 100 ping when you had 10? Learned nothing and got a bad rep. It’s pretty stupid tbh. Btw, the best experience comes from the toughest wins or losses

Looking at some tweets from ENC quals about servers by default makes me sad. If you are a competitor, you should always agree to play on as equal as possible terms. Always go for a server change if pings will be more close and you can get a good competition. Her is why…
