I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the out pouring of sympathy, encouragement, and most of all your prayers for my wife Kay. The ICU here is outstanding and has been working to clean and activate her kidneys. Her cancer tumor had pressed against the kidneys preventing them from functioning, surgery is planned today to provide a path that will allow the kidneys to hopefully function. Again, thank you all for your concern and support. God bless you!

Another American community turned into a combat zone. ICE agents shot and killed a person in the streets of Biddeford, Maine. They are acting like Trump's racist secret police force because they know they have zero accountability. It is long past time to abolish ICE, strip them of this unchecked power, and prosecute every single agent involved to the fullest extent of the law. Biddeford deserves answers, and the American people demand justice.

Did something different for my MAHA exercise, did a 15 mile bicycle ride. It was nice, 71F and overcast. Took sum pix …. These pics are taken in “Little Somalia” in Lewiston Maine. Taken where sh00tings have happened recently.

@MoniFunGirl I prefer bike rides when it is sticky hot and humid. I average around 8-10 mph here in Norfolk depending on stoplights. Bike rides evaporate sweat better than walks keeping me cooler. I'm 66, so I have to pace myself and take shorter rides than I used to.

@Dan472829 yeah, on a mountain bike, supposed it is a 3:1 ratio. 3 bike miles equals one walking. To be honest I dont believe that is correct because I walk everyday and that bike ride exhausted me. Doesn't compute.
