You bought X under the banner of “free speech.” Less censorship, more reach for real voices, that was the promise.
But what do I see in practice?
My reach is declining. My followers aren’t seeing my posts. Numbers spike and drop again the same day as if it’s some kind of shadow game. Transparency? Zero. Consistency? Nowhere to be found.
So the question is simple:
Is this free speech — or just a new kind of algorithmic filter no one has insight into?
Freedom doesn’t just mean being allowed to speak.
It also means being able to be heard without hidden brakes.
If the platform decides who is visible and who isn’t, without explanation, then this isn’t freedom, it’s control in a different disguise.
So here’s the ask:
Open the algorithm.
Show users exactly how reach is determined.
Explain why followers don’t see content.
And give us the tools to verify it ourselves.
If you truly stand for free speech, prove it, with transparency, not slogans.
@elonmusk, the platform is yours. Now show us it’s also ours.
