The Book of Enoch was written for a future generation, as it states in Enoch 1. It was never supposed to be canonized. It tells the story of the events that led up to the great flood, and served as a warning for the future. Holy scripture tells the story of the Nephilim, the great flood that washed it all away, and the Ark that saved Noah, his family, and the animal species. Why should everyone be fearful to educate themselves on exactly what kind of evil was happening during the “days of Noah” ?
