Do you have kids keen to get into cricket? We are looking for youngsters to join our U13 and U11 squads plus our Dynamos (8-11) and All Stars (5-8) programmes. Interested? Then get in touch and get involved in this great game!

Monkseaton CC are setting up a womens softball team to play in a local league and attend festivals. We are looking for anyone intetested in taking part. There will be a taster session for those interested. Please DM if you are interested or require any more info.

As for the 1s, well it's probably an evening to bite our lips and hold our tongues. There'll be a time and place to talk about what happened today.

Congratulations to our 2s who made it four wins in a row today. Thanks to Civil Service for being good opponents and, more importantly, for being good sports too. @monkseatoneric has got his boys on a roll!!

Well, that was an uneventful start to the season. The 1s beat Cowgate by two wickets from the penultimate of the game. But agony for the 2s who go down by one run in a last-ball defeat at Blue Flames/Matfen.

It is with great sadness, I have to announce the passing of my best friend and team mate William Hewison. He was 42. Words are not enough to explain the pain of his loss. He passed suddenly on Monday 23rd August whilst on a family holiday. (1/3)
