“We place all the Bibles and Qurans on the table. When you come and pick one, they are treated as instruments of work and used as such.” — Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee, Hon. Abena Osei-Asare, responding to a request by the Headmistress of Islamic Girls’ Senior High School, Suhum, Mrs. Safia Salifu, for the Quran to be placed in a separate box, not mixed with any other books or documents and handled only by a Muslim during committee hearings. NITA’s debt is reportedly GH₵813,000,000.00, yet they allegedly had only GH₵25.08 in their account. The government has not even properly investigated, held accountable, or jailed a single person over it. At this point, just scrap the whole NITA. Many people in the Tech Ecosystem feel they did not benefit from even GH₵1 of that amount. Just stealing, stealing, and taking.

@enokay69 That’s the whole idea of politicians and pastors alike. They only pretend to wanting the best for their followers only to rip them off the little that they have

Why do people pretend they love the country when their only goal is to gain power, loot, and enrich themselves while ordinary people suffer?

@HeadlessYouTube So who should we blame? Forgetting it’s the same leaders that abuse power and build and own most of such buildings?

@EiiScanty @KojoWud__ And the citizens too. We’re even worse. For them they’ve sworn oath to their various parties to destroy the good name of Ghana and make life unbearable and miserable for us. But we the citizens make things worse. Leaders are wicked and we’re evil. Hmmm. It’s sad

I really want to trust you on this, but the case is that in Ghana, you guys are a tiny minority. My little research shows that Muslims tend to be very peaceful and tolerant when they are minorities. Despite all the noise we’re making about Muslims, there has not been a single instance of violence against any Muslim. If the situation were reversed, you and I both know it would have been a different story, because Islam is not tolerant by nature. Even Deborah wouldn’t have been killed if she had been in the majority Christian south of Nigeria. So please forgive me if we’re being skeptical about trusting you people I trust you as a Dagomba girl but not as a Muslim
dagomba_girl@themisswasila

@kwakuhelate1 I’ve replied you severally, did this happen in Ghana? Has any such happened in Ghana before? We have Muslims attending church like our Chief Imam, living peacefully with you all but you let Islamophobia and religious bigotry take over your heart. WTH is wrong with you?
