Who was chosen:100 - 6/7 graders who may not make the honor roll, but are scholars who never give up & try everyday. I needed them to know they are “seen” & we support them. Inclusive leadership is critically important. You are seen & valued, never give up @pgcps @PGCPS_OCS

Another successful Parent Academy at NOMS! Families of 8th grade scholars enjoyed dinner while learning all about the transition to high school…registration, course selection, required SSL hours, EOY activities, etc. @MonroePrincipal

Virtual Learning today was calm, productive and students were fully engaged. Canvas may have been moving slow, but once we got up and running, my teachers rocked!! The focus for today- control your controllable. @orem_ms

We have been intentional regarding scholars knowing & understanding their data. Students had stretch & growth goals. Today as we took i-Ready every scholar had their previous score & their growth goal on their computers. Boy did they surpass their goals. Proud principal @orem_ms

Today, almost 450 scholars who earned at least 96% attendance during quarter one enjoyed a day of food and fun at Skate Zone! @MonroePrincipal

There are some who take you to hell & back, but you NEVER give up! I have a lot of “Why’s” but this one right here makes everything I go through as a leader worth it.She cried & said she couldn’t make it without us, I told her to find her people… and her why. Look at her now.
