This is rad!

But the absolute BEST part of the Monster Squad Filmation cartoon is that the episode ends with a. The Creature from the Black Lagoon turning into a Dracula, and b. Everyone laughing to freeze frame. Classic.

Really the whole Squad is totally ripped in this version. I'm gonna say that's Horace in the first panel on the left, with Eugene who has grown up to be a wizard probably. Then obviously you've got @AshleyBank on the right with her bud Frankenstein again.

But what if the Monster Squad sequel wasn't a movie? What if it was a Saturday morning spin-off cartoon a la The Real Ghostbusters? Science has that covered.

This is clearly some smished-headed Frankenstein. And I guess a zombie? We need some zombies, sure.

We see here we've gone far into Scooby Doo territory, which was to be expected. I guess this is the opening credits?

I'm also liking that apparently a bald eagle has going the Squad to kick those monsters out of America.

A here we've got Sean and Patrick conspiring about something with a blueish guy... Is this the Frankenstein monster? Unclear. But what IS clear is that's Patrick on the right, as he's doing nothing useful but grimacing.

I asked artificial intelligence to make me a Monster Squad sequel, and it's looking tight.
