In lieu of this week's Friendlocke, I thought I'd post my design/interpretation of the Pete Ness character! Stay tuned: I commissioned a much more talented artist to make a more polished and official-looking version!

The real struggle of having to choose between watching Adult Swim's Futurama marathon and Syfy's Twilight Zone marathon

I'm currently watching it on Cartoon Network! Happy that they decided to air some holiday specials from their older shows this year.

Knish Krinkle from Chowder's Christmas special is the best depiction of Santa, hands down.

Does anyone remember YouTube videos form the late ‘00s/early ‘10s that had those short intros with a grey gradient background? What was the name of that service? I think it was an online video editor and a lot of user-uploaded clips from TV shows had it (it’s not the Hulu intro)

@itsnicktendo Didn’t watch a ton of new stuff this year, but a few of my faves are: “The Ninth Jedi” from Star Wars: Visions “Pop Squad” from Love, Death + Robots “The Brettfast Club” from Inside Job “Together Again” from Adventure Time: Distant Lands

Once again, we are approaching the end of the year, so what were some of your FAVORITE CARTOON EPISODES (or animated movies!) that came out during 2021? Let me know some specific things that you would recommend!

When I came up with Pete, I definitely didn't anticipate or expect that the cutaways would be fully animated segments, so Chrissy's the MVP for putting so much time and work into these silly bits.

A HUGE shoutout to @CosmicKeyframe and @saltydkdan for going above and beyond with the cutaways in this video!! The prod. value of them is insane.

In Nickelodeon's VICTORiOUS, Tori's full name is Victoria Vega. Now the question is whether or not that's a reference to the infamous Vic Vega, aka Mr. Blonde, from Reservoir Dogs
