In this venous case, a 75-year-old patient presented with extensive bilateral iliofemoral thrombosis –extending from IVC filter to popliteal veins – along with acute bilateral lower extremity swelling. Leveraging the versatility of the Symphony 24F catheter, Dr. Kapil Wattamwar (@kapwattMD) of @MontefioreRAD used an IJ access approach to remove a large volume of acute-to-subacute clot, restoring flow to the leg. The patient’s condition improved almost immediately.
