STATE QUALIFYING MEET DAY 2025 1A State Qualifying Meet 📍 Wildwood Park, Ottumwa ⏰ 4:00 🆚 17 teams

The JH Girls competed at the JH state cross country meet at Ankeny Centennial this afternoon! The entire team had a great day of 2-mile best times which led them to a 6th place team finish! Congrats to Ava (2nd), Brea (26th), Addi (39th), and Teagan (40th) for earning medals!

JH girls finish as team runner-up, with each of our 8 runners running stronger tonight than 5 days ago on the same course. 3 SICL medalists: Ava Anderson- 1st, Brea Cheney- 7th, and Teagan Sutherland- 10th!

Great night at the SICL Conference meet! Varsity boys finish 5th as a team and all HS individuals ran strong! Career PRs: Sophia (1 second), Haileah (1:34!), Cade (15 seconds), Linkyn (19 seconds), Luke (11 seconds) Season PR: Claire

SICL MEET DAY 2025 SICL Championship 📍 Big Springs Shooting Complex ⏰ 4:30 🆚 10 conference teams

Varsity girls also run well with Claire medaling 17th and Lexi medaling 20th. Haileah closed us out with another senior year career PR! The JH girls won the meet tonight, scoring 16 points! Ava was the meet winner, with Brea, Addi, and Teagan all medaling 7th, 10th, and 11th!

Beautiful night for our home meet out at Big Springs! Thanks to all who came out and volunteered or supported our athletes! Varsity boys place 5th with Dayton medaling 10th and Cade medaling 13th. Dayton, Cade, and Luke all with career PRs tonight!

A hot October (we’re searching for October weather) night in Winfield. Lexi, Claire, and Haileah all outplace their projections coming in, and Lexi misses a medal by just 3 seconds. Varsity boys compete hard and finish 5th, with Dayton earning a spot in our school’s top 10 times!

Meet results from a HOT CCA course: Varsity girls run well individually tonight, just missing out on medals. Varsity boys place 8th tonight, competing well with some big schools. Some really strong finishes out of this crew to end the race!

Varsity girls finish 7th at Pleasantville with strong times on a hot day. With a spread of just over 2:00, our full team is moving well together! Varsity boys finish 6th, another top half team finish as they get stronger each meet. Luke and Caio pick up new career PRs!

Results from Colfax- Varsity girls finish 6th. Vivian and Lexi finish with season-best times to help lead the girls pack! Varsity boys finish 9th, but a GREAT night from the boys with all five boys finishing with career-best times, with 3 under 20!
