I don’t know you but have followed you for a while and just felt so sad when I read this. I know what I suggest may come across as patronising as I don’t know your details but just in case it helps…. Can you do something out of the ordinary today ? I don’t mean anything big - go for a walk/drive at a time you wouldn’t normally ? To the beach or countryside - just somewhere to just exist for a few minutes, even if you sit in the car. Blast out some music that you love. Treat yourself to something small, again doesn’t have to be a big gesture. Maybe a coffee at a local cafe ? Try and break the routine. When I was going through some issues I would try and do at least one thing a day out of the usual routine. Think at one point I set my alarm for 5am (in summer) and drove to the beach. I watched the sunrise and yes it was cheesy but it really gave me some comfort in a strange way that things would figure themselves out and it was ok to just “be” and not beat myself up about mistakes and situations that I found myself in. Again I’m sorry if this comes across as patronising as it isn’t meant to - but take care of you and just remember the world is a better place for you being in it.

Another late night…thinking horrible thoughts about how life is so shit and my brain making me question the point in existing. 💔 I wish I had something to get up for & to look forward to. I have neither

I would be if I were a NUFC supporter too. Certainly for a while. We’ve had the same with some of our fans and RLB. I’m honestly not sure what some people expected from our first season back in PL but I think it’s fair to say we would have been more than happy with our current position if someone had offered it to us last year!

I’m definitely not condoning anyone attacking anyone else, nor would I ever. But a statement such as “breach of contract” wouldn’t be used unless that is exactly what it was (imo). And FF are an organisation at the end of the day who have standards to uphold - plus the comments from others at the con don’t seem to paint them in a particularly good light. Scribbled notes on whiteboards and promises of information which never came doesn’t scream professional to me, no matter what the circumstances are. But I’m sure once the dust settles it will become clearer. I just hope the many people who have spent hard earned money get some recompense.

I’m a Mackem and quite honestly I dread derby day. Used to go to matches with my son when he was younger and one game that was always off the cards was the derby. Too intense and can flip at the slightest thing. Which is a shame as generally both clubs have some of the best fans in the country - a minority who are probably not bothered about the teams but just want a scrap usually spoil it.

@HeyItsCallisto I wouldn't want to be in the north east today. Last time I was in Newcastle on a derby day there were more police officers than I actually thought possible. At least 20 police horses, riot vans, the works!

It’s been lovely to see, the camaraderie between everyone at the con and the support for Vicky/Michelle has warmed even my cold heart ! As someone who regularly lurks and is not part of the “fandom” (whatever that is) I am just comforted and reassured to know there are such lovely and supportive humans out there. Especially when quite often social media amplifies the worst aspects of humanity.

The friends I've made through this fandom are some of my closest friends & that's the most important thing. One day Swarla will be over (in the world of soap, that could be before the year is out, who knows!) but we'll still have the friends we made along the way

I know I'm not just speaking for myself here but It’s going to be difficult to watch Carla speak about her miscarriage next week on a personal level. However I’m so grateful that Corrie have created space for that important dialogue in this storyline. Miscarriage is still spoken about so rarely, not just because it’s unbearably painful, but mainly because there’s still so much misunderstanding and sometimes blissful ignorance around the grief that comes with baby loss. It’s often minimised and brushed aside, when in reality it’s common, life changing and so devastating. No one should have to carry that kind of loss in silence. This episode will likely be triggering for many, but it’s also deeply important. Conversations like this need to happen. They need to be seen, heard and normalised. One thing I admire about this little cobbled show is that it doesn’t shy away from the uncomfortable subjects whether it's domestic abuse, child abuse or miscarriage. The team are brave and in telling these stories, it helps break taboos and reminds people who are grieving or suffering that they’re not alone.

@TVMusings26 Yeah it’s nice to look forward to the next few weeks ! It’s probably the most positive I’ve felt about a soap storyline for quite a while. And for me the baby storyline adds to it even more!
