I posted this on Instagram yesterday and got flooded with comments of relief that this gag in The Devil Wears Prada 2 was created by an actual human (me), so I figured I’d also post it here because I think these companies should get their flowers when they hire an artist.

Something I love about being an artist is if you draw something and it doesn't quite meet your expectation, you can just do it again after a few years. Never stop yourself from drawing something because you don't have the skills yet.

How I started vs where I am now

I made this a little over a year ago, no reference just sploshed some paint in my sketchbook, hated it and forgot about it. Then 8 months later I scribbled with some pens on top of it and still sort of hated it. Now I actually really like it, even with it's imperfections 🌻
