Please be advised that the Glow Run scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2025 has been cancelled due to storm damage along the race course in Moon Park.

Moon Township Alert: On June 27, Moon Township Parks and Recreation will be holding the annual Glow Run 5K. Traffic restrictions will be in place on Beaver Grade Rd. and Ewing Rd. from 8:30 p.m. through 10:30 p.m. until the end of the race. More info on Moon Parks website.

Beginning Monday, May 12, 2025, Penn DOT will be closing a portion of Ewing Rd. between Beaver Grade and Coraopolis Heights Rd. Please follow posted detour route. Access to Moon Park and athletic fields will not be affected.

Moon Township Alert: Over the past several days, the Moon Township Police Department has received several reports of financial scams. Please follow our website and social media to avoid becoming a victim.

On Friday, December 13, 2024, the Moon Township Police will begin moving into our new facility located at 990 Beaver Grade Rd. We do not anticipate any disruption of service during the move. Please follow us on Facebook for any updates & thank you for your patience.

Moon Township Traffic Alert: Paving on Beaver Grade Road will continue Monday November 25th from 8am to 5pm. This will mark the near completion of this project, with only one short section remaining between Gracy Center Way and University Boulevard.
