Update from Brussels Wednesday Feb 4th All Irish MEPs have today been asked to co-sign my letter to Ursula von der Leyen requesting that she would NOT proceed with any provisional implementation of the Mercosur Trade deal - we have set a deadline of Friday at 6pm as I will present the letter to the President of the European Commission next week - it would be a serious breach of democratic trust if she tried to go ahead and there are personal implications for the EU Commissioners who co-operate with her…here’s more details of the work we’re doing today @
