Since 2002, @Panacetacea has been monitoring humpback whales in Panama's Gulf of Chiriquí. 🐋 In 2024 alone: 83 photo-identified individuals, 116 tissue samples, and the first-ever suction-cup tag successfully deployed in the study's history. panacetacea.org
