@timcairns It's strange that unionists seem terrified of how they'll be treated in a new Ireland - while they watch their community burn irish flags, burn effigies of nationalist pollliticians and hang Kill All Taigs on their bonfires.

But…Chris tells us we will be some sort of super minority in a UI. The problem for Chris is even he knows it’s a lie. Post anything on this platform and the bots tell you exactly how you’ll be treated
Chris Donnelly@chrisadonnelly

The first article was based on comments from two anonymous shoppers. The second a complaint clearly attributable to a prominent unionist commentator. Hardly a solid basis to sweepingly claim nationalists or unionists are ‘losing it’ over bags. I’d say most care little.

I've seen a lot of takes that Orbán's defeat means that he was never an authoritarian in the first place. This is completely wrong — and, in fact, betrays a complete misunderstanding of both Hungarian politics and modern authoritarianism. Here's why.

It was bound to happen sooner or later, but coming at the beginning of a local election campaign in which his party is expected to make a huge breakthrough, it is pretty much the worst time for Zack Polanski. The nice, middle-class Greens who joined the party because they care deeply about the climate, bunnies and hedgehogs are rebelling against Polanski’s efforts to turn it into a far-left party obsessed with trans issues and Palestine. ✍️ Ross Clark Article | spectator.com/article/zack-p…

@MooseBrah @spectator We should all be terrified. Even the prospect of a hard left coalition with Labour will send the bond market rates insane. Double the current financial incontenance and we’ll see mortgage rates closer to 10% than 5%.

@MooseBrah @spectator I get it that is you core response, going after credibility is the oldest trick in the book. But I will play along as I sit here in the feelings workshop. Explain to me why asking questions about a political party or politicians, somehow relates to being scared of them?

@MooseBrah @spectator Billion/millionaires, drive innovation, fund research, they're the employers/landlords/builders/philanthropists.. here's a radical idea, instead of relying on taxpayers rich or poorer to bail them out, how about holding fiscally incompetent fuckwits in government accountable.

@MooseBrah @spectator We have reason to be and if you can't see it you are blind. If you think he's the best thing since sliced bread you have been brainwashed and cannot be reasoned with.

@MooseBrah @spectator I'm not, at the moment. They're not grown up enough to govern, would be like being governed by self-loathing student activists. Unhinged policies, useful idiots to Islam.

@MooseBrah @spectator Lazy argument, when its really holding them to account. They will do well in may, but it will burst and the key thing to watch will be vote share in areas where they have a base.
