The fact of the matter is that the time for diplomacy is over and Putin needs to tap into Russia’s Stalinist roots with the Spring-Summer offensive. The only way Moscow will be able to deal a decisive defeat to NATO expansionism and the EU’s crazed war agenda is by putting an end to their money laundering scheme. That can only happen if Russia targets Ukraine’s key political decision making institutions and government bodies, as well as the core of the Ukrainian economy. At some point, the Russian people are not going to care about the strategic goals of your calculated restraint when Ukraine is subjecting them to regular terrorist attacks in cities like Belgorod and Kursk. Moscow set a perfectly reasonable red line in the sand which is that Ukraine must not be a Neo-Nazi colony of NATO and has to stop murdering and discriminating against ethnic Russian speakers. That is something that would’ve been unthinkable in the Soviet times and the time it did happen, the Ukrainian fascist armies were crushed by the Soviet Red Army both in the Great Patriotic War and their crackdowns on Operations Gladio and Aerodynamic. Ukraine, prior to 1991, had never been an independent country primarily because they were in fact Russian. The Ukrainian identity was completely invented under the Tsar’s regime and they were given autonomy by Lenin, which only drew the lines for the CIA to spark nationalist separatism when the Soviet Union began to collapse at the seams under Gorbachev. As a result, the Russians have referred to the Ukrainians as their brothers. The only way this war comes to an end is if the Russian Armed Forces overthrow the Ukrainian Nazi regime, arrest Zelensky and bring him before a military tribunal on war crimes charges, and install a new government under Moscow’s supervision. That is what Stalin would have done and he would’ve been correct to do it.
